In comparison to Venere 1.5, 2.0 is a bookshelf speaker with slightly higher internal capacity, characterized by a larger mid-woofer, which together are capable of ensuring more wider downwards frequency response with respect to another bookshelf of the same line, and a greater emotional impact. The cabinet of the 2.0 stands out for its typical lyre shape, both a tribute to the flagship Aida and resolves problems related to internal spurious resonances. Finally, the aerodynamics of its rear line, as well as making the speaker particularly pleasing to the eye, prevents critical reflections from the wall behind.

The position of the front reflex port also works to facilitate easy placement in the environment and an exaltation of the drivers which are a mid-woofer with a  Curv™ 180 mm cone and a 29 mm silk dome tweeter produced by DKM.

This harmonious union creates fresh, fast and immensely engaging sound. The angled front baffle characterised by waveguides allows perfect timing and hence an effective "dialogue" between drivers, guaranteeing an impressive listening experience.

Particular attention was paid to the stand whose base, in tempered glass, and with adjustable aluminium feet highlight the 2.0's membership to the Venere family, providing not only uniformity of style but also a specific feature: the feet allow for effective coupling to the ground, giving vivid and clean sound.
